Exercise

Exercise

Exercise or be physically active for 30 to 60 minutes a day You can break this up into 15 minute blocks if you need to However you need to be moving or doing some fat burning exercise and burning calories Walking aerobics bike riding jogging jump roping walking up stairs or even playing with your Dance Dance Revolution counts as exercise

Once you decide to lose weight you need to set goals Losing 30 pounds in a month is highly unlikely for anyone Anyone who advertises quick weight loss is trying to con you Instead focus on small achievable goals Start small One to two pounds a week is a great starter goal Another easy weight loss tip is to share your goal with others and ask them to hold you accountable Find a friend or family member to share your progress with Register at one of the many message boards dedicated to helping you lose weight Having a buddy will help you stay on track

It will not do you any good to lose 15 pounds just to gain it all back Often we work so hard taking off the pounds that once we get there we forget to work on maintaining our health If you go back to your old eating and exercise or lack of habits as soon as you hit your goal you will need to start all over again So while picking your diet program make sure it is something you feel comfortable continuing for the rest of your life No matter how much weight you need to lose it will not happen overnight It involves creating good habits that will take time to develop
